Dusit Davao kicks off 2023 with Fête Magenta



Bringing in the color of the year on its event theme, Dusit Hotels and Resorts in Davao starts 2023 with a client appreciation night. 


January 31, 2023 - Shimmering like Fête Magenta, the Dusit Thani Grand Ballroom was decked out in shimmering tones of gold and silver, the colors of the year, to welcome esteemed guests for an awards night.

The purpose of this event is to recognize the top partners of the hotel and resort collections of the past year and provide good music, good food and an evening of good company. This is Dusit’s way to express its gratefulness for the way Davao and the country has embraced the three properties. 

In his welcome message, General Manager Christoph Kuch said, “We are starting off 2023 with a grateful and bold spirit. Grateful because you have given us a 2022 to remember. We know that by being grateful, we will pave way and attract only the best things – not only for business for giving you delightful experiences. We are bold to face this year because we have your support and patronage. We hope that our humble appreciation through this event will give you a great time, too.”

Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing Lannie Merilo also delivered an appreciation message, while acknowledging her dynamic team. She expresses, “gratefulness is something we highly value in Dusit Davao. And there’s no better way to begin a year but to show some love and thanks to you. The same way, I would like to show my appreciation to my team – for being the most hardworking set of people even the most challenging times.” The sales and marketing team also performed an opening salvo dance for the event. 

With a goal to create this event annually, guests were treated to a sumptuous spread prepared by Executive Chef Piya Suthasiri and his culinary team.
Raffle prizes were given out as well, together with head turners of the night winners – those who have exerted effort in dressing up for the occasion.
The night was hyped up with performances by Muzicskool’s Gap 69 and DJ Torch.
