The international hotel brand elevates the fashion scene with a charity gala partnered with Emilia Sitjar Jewellery, featuring the creations of Davao Fashion and Design Council, for the benefit of SOS Children’s Village in Davao City.
October 5th was a milestone for the Dusit properties in Davao as it officially announces one of the first of its kind in the city – the Dusit x Emilia Sitjar Jewellery Charity Gala. As these partners inked their contracts with the media present, GM Christoph Kuch delivered a heartfelt welcome message. He said, “We are very happy to give Davao something grand but purposeful post-pandemic. Our partners are the best in their own industries, with Emilia Sitjar Jewellery and DFDC taking the fashion scene in Mindanao a notch higher through this event. Of course, all this will be for the benefit of SOS Children’s Village in Davao.”
Emil Sitjar and Dodjie Batu also expressed their excitement and gratefulness for the creation of the grandest charity gala of the year in Davao. A product of collaborative outputs from the partners, the Dusit Charity Gala aims to merge the Dusit Davao’s 3rd anniversary celebration with a commitment to help the community by paving way in creating better lives for children.

Helping children who face dreadful conditions, the organization continues to provide support for families and children to have a harmonious living condition. Daimler Demeterio, in his special message, mentioned, “This is such a privilege for us in SOS. Having all these partners, and for Dusit to consider us as their beneficiary, will be a very big help for the programs and plans we envision for the kids. We look forward to contribute on the occasion as much as we can.”
The two-day event will be on November 11 and 12, 2022, with series of activities on the pipeline.
