Bright and Blissful Holidays At Dusit D2 Davao, As It Lights Up Its Golden Christmas Tree

Dusit D2 Davao ushers a very elegant golden Christmas Tree Lighting. To formally welcome the yuletide season.

With a promising line up of activities for the upcoming month, Dusit Davao kicks off its holiday celebration with a tree lighting ceremony highlighting its partnership with Eurogenerics International Philippines, Inc. (EGIPF).

Last November 17, dusitD2 Davao and Dusit Thani Residence Davao begins the holiday cheer through its Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Attended by key industry partners, media friends, and the Dusit Team, the night was filled with meaningful pursuits. The hotel further shares the hope of the holidays with its official partnership with Eurogenerics International Philippines, Inc. (EGIPF). 

This year’s holiday campaign carries the hashtags #brightandblissfulholidays and #delightfullydusit, embodying how the year has meant to Dusit Hotels and Resorts in Davao. This reflects in all aspects of the properties’ decorations, promotions, and CSR initiatives. Adorned with hues of gold, it stays true to its brand promise of luxury, with the added warmth of gracious hospitality. 

GM Christoph Kuch welcomes everyone with an inspiring message. “This was one eventful year for us in Dusit Davao. From the roster of big events we hosted, the partnerships we have made, and all the celebrations you have created with us. We are truly grateful. As we usher in another holiday season, we wanted for you, our valued guests, to see and feel what this occasion means to us – BRIGHT and BLISSFUL. We wanted you to see brightness all around, giving that blissful feeling of delight, warmth, and joy.,” he said.

This was followed by the Christmas message of DOT Regional Director Tanya Rabat-Tan, highlighting the value of being able to celebrate post-pandemic, and never forgetting the blessings the year has showered each and everyone. The support of the city and the region were highly appreciated by the Dusit Davao Team.

The tree lighting ceremony was witnessed by Hon. Al Ryan Alejandre, Hon. Bernie Al-ag, RD Tanya Rabat-Tan, City Tourism Officer Jennifer Romero, EGIPF’s Fundraising Manager Celina Le Neindre-Van Dierendonck, GM Christoph Kuch, and Cluster DOSM Lannier Merilo. 

In the introduction of this year’s holiday partner, CDOSM Lannie Merilo said, “We were hoping to partner with an organization that advocates different facets of the society. This foundation covers rehabilitation and reforestation of the environment, while giving importance to the preservation of the life and culture of the communities where they plant.”

Established in 2010, the Eurogenerics International Philippines or EGIP is an NGO that aims for sustainable development. Dusit Davao is supporting their current campaign – the “One shirt, One tree” initiative which allows us to contribute into their advocacies. These shirts can be purchased at the concierge of all Dusit Davao properties starting December. 

After the get together, everybody went to Madayaw Cafe to experience the festive holiday menu prepared by Chef Piya.
